Mediocrity: Ordinariness as a consequence of being average and not outstanding. A person of second rate ability or value.

Let’s strive to live above the level of Mediocrity! Do you want to be average? Do you want to always feel like you are not the best you can be?

All we ever do is procrastinate. Prolonged procrastination equals being out of the game by the time we wake up. Enough already. Confronting mediocrity takes thinking clearly. Clearing the mind of the clutter helps to see clear direction. We waste time by focusing on the negative, allowing that to distract and keep us from being the best! We must have commitment once we clearly see direction. Those who cannot commit and put 100% of themselves into a dream will never accomplish anything. How sad to live life never realizing how spectacular you can be when you take the time to give it your all. A basketball is just a basketball until placed into the hands of Michael Jordan. We look at the end result, a spectacular athlete with exceptional skill and execution. But we must closely examine that he was willing to put the time in to polish and perfect his skill and passion.

We want a free ride. We expect something for nothing and than feel all sorry for ourselves that we are not at the top of our game in life. It does not matter your age, how you look (big nose, perfect nose). Get it together and stop tinkering around and blaming your lack of success on everyone else. If you or I end up amounting to nothing in this life, we have no one to blame but our very own lack of commitment and simply being okay with being mediocre. Remember big things have small beginnings. Don’t you let anyone tell you what you cannot do something in life!

Every time you feel like doing the wrong thing but choose to do the right thing, that is victory. Early to bed and early to rise makes a healthy, wealthy and wise individual.
