Colon hydrotherpay
preparation / 1st Session

Please prepare the day before your session by drinking a few liters of water throughout the day (tip: try to do this every day) to ensure that you are well-hydrated for your session. Eat healthy and nourishing foods the day of your colon hydrotherapy session, unless you are fasting. Eating a meal, two to four hours before your colonic is ideal, but no food or beverage should be consumed in the two hours before your appointment.

You are in the process of taking very good care of yourself, so remember to allow for the time and space you need to be in a calm state of mind. Your body responds best to treatment when it is relaxed: deep breathing, laughing, exercising, soothing music and a positive, supportive environment all help facilitate this peaceful state.

If you wish to go a few steps further, there are a number of additional measures you can take to prepare for your colon hydrotherapy. Include lots of the following in your healthy diet: Raw fruits and vegetables (preferably organic if you can). Lightly steamed low starch vegetables, organic raw nuts and seeds. Plenty of omega 3, 6, 9 fatty acids, coconut oils, avocados and cold pressed plant oils, such as olive and sesame oil. Raw, unpasteurized dairy products from goats or sheep. Whole grains. Organic chicken and fresh water clean fish, even organic bison.

 

After Your Colonic Session:

After your session, we recommend probiotics, which are available to purchase. During a colonic some of the good and bacteria, along with the bad, may be eliminated from your colon. The probiotics will re-inoculate your system with the good bacteria you need. You may want to sit and relax with us for some time after your session, and have a cup of tea or a piece of fruit until you feel you have finished eliminating, and have fully replenished your system and energy level.

We ask that you eat very light, pure and easy to digest foods, for the remainder of the day. Try to stay away from raw, overly rich, heavy foods. You have just cleansed your system and we suggest that you allow your body the time it needs to rest and relax, so it can go to work to heal you, rather than go to work digesting rich meals. Please try to stay away from alcohol; it will go directly to your head and may cause a stomachache because it is just too strong for your freshly cleansed system.

It is fine to carry on with your normal daily plans or to return to work, as you will feel fine. Most people feel energetic, light and in a very positive mood after a cleansing.

SWEAT LODGE
preparation

We advice you to eat a healthy, light fresh snack prior to treatment think smoothy, salad. You should not do City Sweat lodge on an empty stomach or right after a heavy meal. Hydration is key so be sure that you drink plenty of water!!

A nice refreshing shower morning of treatment day is advised. You will not want to shower for at least two hours after treatment to allow body to gain maximum benefits.

Please come prepared with a towel. You will need a long sleeve t-shirt, light sweat pants and socks. If you do not want to bring attire we have sweat suits available for purchase. You will need a change of dry clothing for after treatment if you come already dressed to sweat.

Allow yourself to be mentally prepared and relaxed prior to treatment by giving yourself plenty of time to get ready, arrive and organized prior to treatment. In general make a commitment to good heath. Spend time with those who uplift you as well as quality time on your own.

 

After Your Swet Lodge Session:

After your treatment be sure to continue to hydrate and you will want a healthy snack as well. Other than that it is ok to carryon with your day as planned. You will feel happy, positive and motivated so make the mat of your day be it relaxing, outdoor fun or back to the office. Listen to your body as always.

One good choice – like internal cleansing – often leads to another, so if you have the day to yourself, go for a long walk or do yoga – make it a day of bettering yourself!

OXYGEN SAUNA
preparation

Please arrive at least fifteen minutes early for your oxygen sauna, to fill out your paperwork. Upon completion, we will take some time to review your paper work, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you feel comfortable.

Please prepare the day before your session by drinking at least a few liters of water throughout the day, and the day of your appointment so that you are well hydrated. Make sure to eat nourishing foods the day of your session, and have a healthy meal prior to your treatment. You will be doing a great deal of sweating and detoxing, so you will need the nutrients and energy.

It is best to stop eating about an hour before your session and prepare to have a healthy snack like a piece of organic fruit afterward. You may want to bring a few personal items for touch up if you will be returning to work after your session, since you will be sweating a lot. We will also have toiletries available for your convenience. Don’t forget to bring your swim suit or trunks!

 

After Your Oxygen Sauna Session:
